History

Set up in April 2007, Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado is the result of a joint venture signed between the world's largest trade fair promoter, Reed Exhibitionswhich has been in Brazil since 1997, and the biggest in Latin America, Alcantara Machado Feiras de Negócios, founded in 1956. Among the first of its fairs was the MECÂNICA Fair of 1959, and the AUTOMOBILE TRADE SHOW of 1960.

The partnership started in 2006, with the FEICON BATIMAT (International Construction Industry Trade Fair), followed by ISC BRASIL (International Security Conference and Exhibition) and SISP (São Paulo Real Estate Trade Fair).

Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado, whose office is in the city of São Paulo, has 150 employees and currently organizes more than 30 business fairs in Brazil, which involve events from the most diverse of industry segments. The promoter's objectives include providing exhibitors and their customers with the opportunity to increase their business, to bring international buyers to Brazil and to arrange new partnerships.
